The Exceptional Student Support Services (ESSS) department is committed to giving students with disabilities the means to achieve their annual goals as specified on each student's Individual Education Plan, while educating them in the least restrictive environment.

ESSS Mission

The mission of the ESSS Department is to provide the appropriate supports and services to increase the achievement for students with disabilities, and to ensure progress in the appropriate curriculum for all students.

The Foundation for SCPS Launches New Families in Need Fund

To better respond to the needs of students who are living in financially fragile situations and students who are homeless, the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools plans to launch a new fund – Families in Need (FIN) Fund.
