Verizon Sponsors Girls Discovering STEM Connections
Seminole County Public Schools ePathways setup a variety of Saturday camps that focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) career programs. These camps were 8th grade girls only and was intended to increase awareness of different career paths that focus on STEM that are available to be taken in high school. The Saturday camps were held at different high schools and included fun, engaging, hands-on activities that exposed some of the programs offered in SCPS to students. Crooms Academy of Information Technology held the "IT" Girls: Information Technology workshop on November 21, 2015, as it featured Crooms' Information Technology Programs.
Girls In The Making
